Abstract

There were huge changes in the Japanese and Korean(colony Joseon) filmdom in the middle 1920s. The Popular popularity and cultural status became high in that time. Joseon``s movie has begun to make from 1923 in earnest, however there was almost no one a character set as Japanese in the Joseon``s movie. But Japanese actor, Osawa-Yawara(大택柔) has come into action actively under the Korean name as Ju-Samson(주삼손). On the other hand, the interest of the Japanese audience was concentrating by Japanese film actor in colony Joseon. And, events that a Japanese film actors visit Seoul were opened sometimes. Japanese from the Joseon was included in the actors. In case of Ju-Samson and the Korean actors who went into the Japanese cinema field, however they couldn``t be get the attention of the Japanese. It is the result that was reflected in the view of Japanese audience to Joseon``s movie.
