Analysis of the New Settlements and Korean Chinese Ethnic Education : Based on the Case Study of Qingdao JungYang School

Abstract
This study is to seek for the prospect of future Korean Chinese ethnic education by looking into the status of Korean Chinese ethnic education in its new settlements. For the purpose of this study, school curriculum was mainly analyzed based on the case study of Qingdao JungYang School. And correlation between the curriculum and the parents’ choice of Korean ethnic school, by especially focusing on the variables which determine the behaviors’ choice, and the ethnic education contents of old and new settlements were compared and analyzed. The academic significance of this study is that it worked on the subject without any advanced studies, and that it might be used for the future comparative studies between traditional settlements·other new settlements within China·typical Korean settlements overseas.
